Bright Futures Learning Trust is governed by the Board of Trustees. The Board delegates some of the day to day governance of each school to it’s own Local Governing Advisory Board. The BFLT Scheme of Delegation document describes this delegation in detail.

In the academic year 2021/22 the Trustees attendance at meetings was as follows:
- Mrs Gill Kozlowski, Mr Carl Bowler, Mr Matt Woodruff & Mr Alan Gardner had full attendance.
- Ms Helen Smith attended 9 of 11 meetings and Mr Vic Shipp attended 8 of 11 meetings.
- Mrs Claire Lowe attended 1 of 2 meetings since her appointment.
- Before their resignations, Mrs Pauline Alexander attended 8 of 9 meetings, Mr Dave Meadon attended 5 of 6 meetings and Mr Jon Richens attended 0 of 1 meetings.
Meetings
The Trustees plan to have seven meetings in the year 2022/23. The dates of these meetings are tbc.
